Where have I been!?!?

I have a new FREE pattern to share but before I do I have a few updates as to why things have been so quiet for the past few years.

I opened an Etsy shop! You can browse my whimsical merchandise here.

Another reason why I’ve been so busy is that I got a new job at Joann Fabrics!

That’s basically all I’ve been up to. Just working, creating and enjoying our new life in Pittsburgh, PA!

Now on to the good stuff! My free Toddler Tank Pattern!

Toddler Tank

7.) ch1, hdc in next 20.(20hdc) switch to color B for trim and straps. turn.

Top Trim: using color B, sc evenly around entire top. join. fasten off.

Bottom Trim. I used the picot stitch in every other stitch around the base.
example: Picot(ch3, slst in first ch) sc in next sp. Picot, sc, Picot, sc. repeat around. join. fasten off.

Straps: I made the straps separate then sewed on buttons in between the color B rows on the front and back panels of the tank. Any hole along the strap can be used for a button hole which makes the straps easy and adjustable.

Start with Ch3
1.) hdc in second ch and next ch(2hdc). ch1 turn.
2-24.)2 hdc.(2hdc) ch1 turn.
sc evenly around the strap. Make sure to add 2sc instead of just one in each of the four corners of the straps to create a rounded edge. Join and fasten off.
